Hi,
Here is my current Status :
I485 : Filed in July 2007
PD : April 2006
EAD : Valid till 27th August 2010 (filed for renewal last week)
AP : Valid till Jan 22nd 2011
H1B : Valid till Jan 22nd 2011
My employer is still the same who filed for my GC (and helping me keep my H1 current) Last couple of time when I went to India I have used AP to re-enter the US. My wife used her EAD to get a job locally - but now she has quite and she is in India. . I am currently in process of getting my H1 stamped on my passport, get H4 for my wife and son (who was born on July 30 2010 in India)
MY QUESTION IS : What should we use to re-enter the US ? AP or H1/H4 ?
Will my H1 and EAD still be valid ? or will I lose one of them ?
Please let me know. I do not want to take a wrong step since I am so close to getting my GC.

HI DAN19, don't worry your parcel will go to lower weldon str. I lived in Burlington VT for couple of years and williston is part of Burlington town and St. Albans is 3 exits from Burlington. Williston could be sorting station for FedEx. and last scan sweep.
My attorney send me an email stating that my sister's H1 transfer was filed to WILLISTON, VT. Do they normally send to that address or is it somewhere else?

You can immigrate base dupon family sponsorship, employment or just the point system without employment.
I qualified by point system without employment offer. You can take the test on line for free to see if you qualify by the point system.

It is direct deposit / stub, but company name does not show anywhere and I spoke with employees that have been there over a year and they say that is also how the W2 is printed. Company name does not show.

My understanding is that once you I-485 gets approved, the H4 gets invalided. She needs an AP to return.
I have read at many forums that at the POE, the officer may not be able to see if the H4 has been invalided or not and may allow her to get in with H4. But if that happens, I think she will be in big trouble . As you know, it's always our responsibility to maintain status and act accordingly. This is why most of the lawyers suggest to carry AP.

Depends on whether the role for which he is applying requires a PhD or not. Once again, consult a good lawyer.
Small addition to your post. EB1A does not require a job offer, but it needs the applicant to prove exceptional ability. EB1B (outstanding researcher or professor) and EB1C (multinational manager) do need sponsorship and a job offer.

I am curious of the average networth of H1Bs excluding their parent's money. The money they just made so far. Not sure how to start a new thread. I read somewhere online there are lot of H1Bs who are working for 10 years are almost millionaires. Can they use their accumulated wealth to do an investment based green card.

no it doesnt....check on ..there are so many people getting consecutive luds...but then they dont get approvals. in the end it means that its a new lud. someone accessed your case and the lud was either because some accessed it or it was a system generated lud.
i hope that eb2-june03-dude gets his green soon...but the lud doesnt mean anything

i could not get answer for this question. for all ppl filed AOS between 2nd july and 17th august, will they process GC application based on PD or RD ?
Person A : PD august 2005 and I-485 filed on : 15 th july
Person B : PD august 2006 and I-485 filed on : 2 nd july
who will get GC first ? Person A or person B ?

USCIS will retrogress the Dates in October say they made May 2002. In that case Neither A or B will get AOS
Now say in January 2008 the PD was made September 2005, In that case Person A will get first
But If in January 2008 the PD was made September 2006,In that case Person B can get it first because his Recieve date is first

I do not want to renew the advanced payroll, since I do not foresee travel within the next 18 months overseas. Is there a way I can skip the renewal this time around (1-year extension) and renew it the next time? If there is an emergency, I can still go to India and have the Visa-stamped since we have a valid H1/H4 right?

With the situation currently we are facing on H-1B, in my opinion congress may do some quick fix before the CIR implementation. Reforming the H-1B visa, I do not think any thing is wrong in that. In this process of reforming H-1B visa, can we incorporate our mission of at least filing I-485 without visa availability?

Hi, I have strange situation, when I check status of my I-485, this is what I see:

According to their site I've already should have received either approval or denial of Applicatio to Adjust Status (I-485).
So my attorney called customer support # and claims that service representative told her that it refers to something mailed other than approval or denial having being mailed.
Well, since my attorney couldn't figure it out, I decided to call myself today. In my case, customer service rep told me that she isn't allowed to tell me whether it was approval or denial, but she said that it must be either one of the two. She offered to send me a copy of what was sent on Sep 2007 as per this screenshot above. So now I have to wait up to 45 days to see what it is.
I am wondering if anyone else has seen similar thing happen.
By the way, my priority dates aren't current. I am still in backlog, hence I am not so optimistic this could be approval or denial. I am actually more afraid whether or not my paperwork got stalled or something and it'll now never get resolved because of according to their system the matter has been resolved.
Anyway, if anyone has any advice or ideas that'd be appreciated,

My H1 B is valid until 2010 (mar). But considering my entry/exit (I94) dates - I will be completing my 5 years in next 2 months.
My query:
1. Do I have time until 2009 (mar) for filing the Labor?
2. Can I file GC in the 6th year of H1 B, if yes what are the consequences?

My employer participates in e-verify and we have several employees in H1/EAD/OPT etc. No issues so far.
Since lawyers are opposing e-verify, e-verify should be good for us. ;);)
